Who we are and what this covers

The DRIPBaR Frisco is a physician-led IV therapy and wellness clinic at 3311 Preston Road, Suite 9, Frisco, Texas 75034. Clinical services are provided by Zen Health PLLC. Business operations are conducted by FriscoDripBar LLC. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to these entities together.

This policy explains how we handle information collected through our websites, our online booking and intake forms, our email and text message programs, and our advertising. It applies to visitors to our sites and to people who contact us, request information, or book an appointment.

It does not cover the privacy practices of The DRIPBaR corporate or other franchise locations, which operate their own websites under their own policies. It also does not cover third-party sites we link to.

Most importantly, this policy is separate from our Notice of Privacy Practices. Health information you give us as a patient is governed by that notice and by federal health privacy law, not by this policy. The next section explains where the line falls.

Information we collect

What you give us. You can browse our website without telling us who you are. You choose to give us information when you book an appointment, fill in a contact or intake form, join our email list, opt in to text messages, apply for a job, or call us. Depending on what you do, that may include your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, appointment preferences, and whatever you choose to write in a free-text field.

What we collect automatically. Like most websites, ours records technical details each time a page loads: IP address, browser and operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visit. We may connect this activity to you if you have identified yourself to us.

What we receive from others. We may receive information about you from advertising platforms, appointment and payment processors, and similar service providers. Where we combine that with information you gave us directly, we handle the combined record under this policy.

Health information is treated differently. Once you become a patient, information about your health, your treatments, and your care is protected health information under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. We do not use protected health information for marketing without your written authorization, and we do not sell it. How we handle it is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is available at the clinic and on request. If anything in this policy appears to conflict with that notice, the notice governs.

Please do not include details about symptoms, conditions, medications, or treatment in a website form, email, or text message. Those channels are not secure. Call us instead.

Cookies, tracking, and analytics

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We use cookies and similar technologies, including pixels and web beacons, to keep the site working properly, to understand how visitors move through it, and to measure whether our advertising is reaching the right people.

We use Google Ads conversion tracking and related Google measurement tools. These record that a visit followed an ad and whether it led to a booking or a call. We do not pass health information to these tools, and we do not use them to build audiences based on medical conditions.

Our emails may contain small images that tell us whether a message was opened and which links were clicked. This is how we judge whether our newsletters are worth sending.

You can set your browser to warn you about cookies or to block them. Most browsers also offer a setting that asks sites not to track you. If you block cookies, parts of our site may not work as expected, and you may have to re-enter information.

How we use and share information

We use the information described above to:

  • schedule, confirm, and remind you about appointments
  • answer your questions and respond to requests
  • send you offers, newsletters, and clinic news, where you have agreed to receive them
  • understand which of our services and promotions people find useful
  • measure and improve our advertising
  • operate, secure, and improve our website
  • meet our legal, tax, and professional obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We have not sold personal information in the past twelve months, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We do share information with service providers who work on our behalf — our scheduling and practice management system, payment processor, email and text message platforms, website host, and advertising and analytics providers. They may use it only to perform services for us.

We may disclose information when the law requires it: in response to a subpoena, court order, or lawful request from a government or regulatory authority; to enforce our terms; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our patients, our staff, or the public.

If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, information we hold may transfer to the acquiring party as part of that transaction. Protected health information would transfer only as permitted by federal health privacy law.

Text message program

How you opt in. You consent to receive text messages from us by ticking the consent box on a form on our website, by submitting a lead form through one of our social media advertisements, or by providing your mobile number when you book an appointment. Consent to marketing texts is never a condition of receiving treatment.

What we send. Appointment confirmations and reminders, and — if you opted in to marketing — clinic news, seasonal offers, and membership updates.

How often. Message frequency varies. Marketing messages are typically sent a few times per month, and may increase briefly around a promotion.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance, or call us at 469-466-1134. Opting out of marketing texts does not stop appointment reminders; tell us directly if you would prefer not to receive those.

Your mobile number stays with us. We do not share mobile numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We share them only with the vendors who deliver messages on our behalf, and those vendors may not use them for anything else.

Your privacy rights

Texas residents have rights over personal data under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. Wherever you live, we will honor the following requests:

RightWhat you can ask us to do
AccessConfirm whether we hold personal data about you, and give you a copy
CorrectFix personal data about you that is inaccurate or out of date
DeleteDelete personal data we hold about you
PortabilityProvide your data in a portable, readable format
Opt outStop using your data for targeted advertising, sale, or profiling

To make a request, send us a message through our contact page or call 469-466-1134. We will verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within 45 days, or tell you why we need longer.

These rights apply to personal data covered by this policy. Requests about your medical records follow a separate process under federal health privacy law — ask us for the Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how.

Some information we must keep even after a deletion request, including medical records we are required to retain and records needed for tax, billing, or legal purposes.

If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider.

To stop marketing email, click the unsubscribe link in any message. To stop marketing texts, reply STOP.

Security, children, and changes

Security. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections on our website and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party sites. Our site links to sites we do not control, including our booking platform and social media pages. Their privacy practices are their own, and we are not responsible for them.

Visitors outside the United States. We operate in the United States, and information you give us is stored and processed here. Privacy protections here may differ from those where you live.

Children. Our website and marketing are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Treatment of a minor patient follows our clinical intake process, which requires a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy. We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed, and the current version is always on our website. We will handle information already collected under the policy in effect when you gave it to us, unless you agree otherwise.
